Do you want to work on the quality and further development of highly advanced machines for a specialized industry? As a Quality Engineer, you will work in a high-tech environment where prototypes, new technology, and precise measurements come together. You will support process and technology specialists at Master's and PhD level and be an important link between various technical departments.
With your technical insight, you will not only ensure that components meet the correct specifications but also actively contribute to how new machines and measurement processes can be improved.
What you do
Together with a colleague, you will be responsible for the measurement room and, from your expertise, make a direct contribution to the quality and development of high-tech machines.
- Prepare and perform precise measurements on machine and mold parts, finished products, samples, and prototypes.
- Work with advanced 2D and 3D measuring equipment, including systems from Nikon, Mitutoyo, SAM, X-Ray, and Alicona Infinite Focus.
- Analyze measurement results and translate them into clear and reliable reports for various technical departments.
- Discuss tolerances, material issues, product quality, and improvements to new machines with various technical departments.
- Monitor the availability and reliability of measuring equipment and continuously improve measurement methods and quality processes.
Profile
- A completed MBO-4 education with relevant experience or an HBO education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical field; HBO starters may also be considered.
- Technical insight and interest in materials science, dimensioning, and measuring complex machine and mold parts.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and the ability to discuss these topics in depth with technical specialists.
- Experience with 2D and 3D measuring equipment is highly desirable; experience from a measurement room is an excellent fit.
- Good command of Dutch, at least B1/B2 level, and sufficient English to communicate within an international technical environment.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP QM, Q-notes, and/or Toxic is a plus.
