Functional Analyst

• Model formality behaviour against standard contracts, shared base types and state machines.
• Elicit, analyse and structure functional requirements for notarial formalities.
• Produce user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, story maps and functional domain contracts.
• Define and manage OpenAPI / AsyncAPI specifications.
• Document data flows, edge cases and compliance-relevant behaviour.
• Validate requirements with business experts.
• Communicate domain concepts clearly to technical teams.
• Refine the backlog and support developers and testers.
• Clarify acceptance criteria and validate delivered functionality.

What they ask

• 3-5 years of experience as a Functional / Business Analyst in software delivery.
• Strong experience with requirements elicitation and functional decomposition.
• Experience with functional domain modelling, particularly contract-driven services.
• Strong ability to write clear and testable functional specifications.
• Strong command of: User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Business Rules.
• Ability to read and reason about REST API contracts / OpenAPI.
• Experience working with data models.
• Experience with dependency mapping across domains.
• Proven experience translating regulated, legal or financial processes into functional specifications.
• Experience working in multi-stakeholder environments.
• Strong facilitation, decision-making and ambiguity-resolution capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously within a mission-critical delivery environment.
• Strong collaboration and peer-review mindset.
• Dutch + English OR French + English – Hard Requirement.
