A HR specialist for flexible and temporary IT staffing is looking for a Scrum Master for one of its clients. This specialist manages IT projects for various clients in Flanders and Brussels in IT domains such as Application Development, Infrastructure Services, and Software Testing. The Scrum Master acts as a point of contact for everyone in the team, the Product Owner, client(s), and other stakeholders for all questions regarding Agile working and the Scrum methodology.
What you do
- Act as a facilitator and guide and coach one or more teams to work in a self-organizing manner
- Inspire the team to work according to the Scrum methodology and values, and provide guidance where necessary so that the team resolves its own bottlenecks as much as possible
- Inspire the team where necessary and offer steadfastness and radiate positivity when things are not going so well
- Utilize team members' strengths and help them collaborate so that project objectives are delivered qualitatively and regularly
- Ensure that all standard Scrum events (daily, standups, retrospectives, planning sessions, sprint reviews) proceed correctly according to Scrum guidelines
- Ensure that the Scrum team and its environment (e.g., Business, Management, PMO, Operations) understand agile values and principles and apply the Scrum methodology
What they ask
- Scrum Master training
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a full-time Scrum Master (not combined with another role)
- Experience with introducing Agile/Scrum/SAFe into a team
- Minimum 1 year of demonstrable experience with Scaled Agile
- Knowledge of Kanban Flow metrics is a big bonus
- Insurance knowledge is a great advantage
- Languages: Dutch and English
