A motivated and enthusiastic budget coach is sought for a program focused on financial support.
What you do
As a budget coach, you will work at various educational institutions. You will be the point of contact for students regarding financial matters and support them in managing debts. You will be part of a Care Advisory Team and/or a Career Expertise Center of the institution. You will collaborate daily with youth advisors, care coordinators, learning-work coaches, and mentors, among others. You will also have direct budget coach colleagues working at various educational institutions.
- Consultation hours / point of contact for students (regarding student finance, health insurance, providers, allowances, debts, etc.);
- Setting up debt arrangements;
- Giving information and presentations in classes;
- Applying for debt restructuring loans for young people;
- Advising, guiding, and coaching students on financial matters;
- Preparing reports (internal and external).
What they ask
- A completed HBO degree, preferably in Social Work and Services (MWD) or Social Legal Services (SJD);
- Connection and affinity with the target group of students/young adults;
- Experience working with young people;
- Independence in your role as a budget coach;
- Flexibility and good adaptability, as you will be working at various educational institutions.
