Maintenance Engineer
As a Maintenance Engineer, you are responsible for analyzing, improving, and optimizing the maintenance strategy of critical utility installations. You ensure maximum availability of technical installations and actively contribute to the reliability, safety, and efficiency of the maintenance organization. You work closely with maintenance, operations, engineering, and external partners within an innovative environment where continuity and quality are essential.
What you will do.
- You analyze maintenance and fault data (MTBF, MTTR, OEE) and translate these into concrete improvement actions.
- You develop, implement, and optimize maintenance strategies such as preventive, predictive maintenance, and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
- You monitor the quality and continuity of maintenance processes.
- You identify improvements to utility installations such as HVAC, compressed air, water treatment, steam, electricity, and sprinkler systems.
- You draw up critical spare parts lists and manage them based on the availability of the installations.
- You support and guide Root Cause Analyses (RCA) after technical failures.
- You own Management of Change (MOC) processes and ensure correct execution and documentation.
- You act as a technical point of contact for modifications, replacements, and technical innovations of installations.
- You support tenders and the selection of maintenance contractors and suppliers.
- You draw up technical standards, work instructions, and maintenance procedures and optimize existing work processes.
Profile
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electromechanics, Energy Technology, or an equivalent technical field.
- You have experience as a Maintenance Engineer within an industrial or technical production environment.
- You have good knowledge of utility installations such as HVAC, water treatment, compressed air, steam, electricity, and building techniques.
- You have experience with maintenance methodologies such as RCM, RCA, and performance management.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch and have a good knowledge of English.
- Experience with SAP PM is a significant asset.
