In this challenging and varied role, you will work among approximately 40 enthusiastic colleague advisors and supervisors within a Living Environment team of a government organization. This team includes specialists in soil, asbestos, special investigative officers (BOA's), and flora and fauna. The task package will be further tailored based on experience and specialization.
What you do
- Assess research reports
- Assess remediation notifications and evaluations (both under the Soil Protection Act and the Environmental Act)
- Assess 'Excavation' notifications
- Advise colleagues, where possible, on permit and enforcement procedures
- Advise colleagues, where possible, on unusual incidents
- Advise colleagues, where possible, on final soil investigations
- Contribute to the assessment of groundwater monitoring
- Grant customized regulations in the field of groundwater and/or wastewater discharges
- Adapt the task package based on experience and specialization

- Expertise in soil issues and enthusiasm to contribute from that knowledge.

What they ask
- Completed HBO/WO education in the field of soil
- Work experience with assessing soil reports and drafting advice
- Knowledge of other relevant environmental legislation and regulations, including the Environmental Act
- Minimum three years of VTH (Permits, Supervision, and Enforcement) experience with the government
