Instructor Mechanical Drafter

An educational institution is looking for an instructor to guide participants in developing new insights and skills.

• The focus is on applying competencies in practice.

What you will do.

• Make lessons interactive and varied, so that participants acquire new knowledge, skills, and attitudes and can apply them.
• Utilize relevant (digital) working methods to improve the learning experience and create engagement.
• Develop teaching materials (handouts, online content, practical exercises) and/or ensure that available materials are up-to-date and relevant.
• Co-create new training courses in the sector with the sector manager and/or co-instructors.
• Coach trainees throughout the course to help them achieve their goals.
• Target audience: entry level.
• Lesson time: Tuesday evening - 21 sessions.
• Lesson content will be discussed during the selection process.

What they ask

• Be passionate about helping people develop valuable new insights and skills.
• Demonstrable work experience as a mechanical drafter.
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD with a focus on drawing mechanical parts.
• Open learning attitude and empathy for people at different stages of the learning process.
• Some experience with teaching/speaking to a group is a plus (a pedagogical diploma is not a must).
