You work as a personal supervisor in a protected residential facility for vulnerable people. Participants face a history of homelessness, psychiatric vulnerability, active addiction, and sometimes judicial backgrounds. You help them step by step to regain control over their lives through a coaching approach.
What you do
- You build a professional, trusting relationship with participants and coach them in making positive choices.
- You draw up a personal care plan with the participant, translating wishes, needs, and goals into concrete actions.
- You stimulate growth and self-direction, and support the development of skills for meaningful daily activities and future prospects.
- You actively contribute to a stable, protected living environment where participants feel seen and heard.
- You build bridges towards independent living, society, and chain partners, to enable participants to (re)integrate.
- You work methodically and purposefully on recovery-oriented care.
Profile
- You have completed a relevant HBO-level education (Social Work, SPH, MWD, Nursing, etc.).
- You work in a connecting way and have an affinity with this specific target group.
- You are resilient, able to work independently and with a driven team.
- Flexible working is not a problem for you: you work irregular shifts (no night shifts), within a schedule known two months in advance, and have a fixed day off weekly.
- You are a Christian and can indicate what that means to you.
