Control Room Coordinator

An organization specializing in security solutions daily protects construction sites, infrastructure projects, and industrial locations. From a control room, intelligent camera systems are monitored 24 hours a day to quickly detect incidents and ensure professional follow-up. In this hands-on role, you combine operational tasks with the daily coordination of the control room.

You are the first point of contact for colleagues, monitor the quality of operations, and ensure quick and professional follow-up of reports for clients. Together with a team of centralists, you ensure the control room functions optimally 24/7. You guide colleagues in their daily activities, conduct performance and development reviews, support the onboarding of new employees, and actively contribute to the team's further development.

With a coaching approach, operational experience, and a sense of quality, you help colleagues get the best out of themselves and the control room.

What you do

As a Control Room Coordinator, you actively participate within the control room and are responsible for the daily coordination of operations. You maintain an overview, support colleagues in complex situations, and ensure that reports are handled efficiently and according to the highest quality standards.

  • Coordinate daily activities within the control room.
  • Actively participate as a centralist and camera supervisor.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for colleagues during shifts.
  • Guide, coach, and support colleagues on the work floor.
  • Monitor procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
  • Identify bottlenecks and initiate improvements within operations.
  • Prepare and check reports and administrative processing.
  • Maintain contact with internal departments, clients, and external partners.
  • Support the onboarding and guidance of new colleagues.
  • Contribute to positive collaboration and a professional work atmosphere.
  • Participate in on-call duty when necessary.

  • MBO 4 work and thinking level.
  • Experience within a control room, private alarm center, or security organization.
  • Experience with coordinating or guiding colleagues.
  • Good communication skills and a coaching attitude.
  • Analytical ability and an eye for quality.
  • A proactive, independent, and solution-oriented work attitude.
  • Good command of the Dutch language.

Profile

You are an experienced security officer or centralist who enjoys taking responsibility and is energized by supporting and guiding colleagues. You maintain an overview, communicate clearly, and know how to set the right priorities even during busy periods.
