An engineering firm specializing in geo- and environmental technology conducts studies for various projects, including buildings, wind turbines, construction pits, infrastructure, water retaining structures, and dewatering systems. The firm utilizes the latest techniques for field research, laboratory analysis, and geo-monitoring. The team consists of over 150 professionals.
What you will do.
- Provide geotechnical advice for projects ranging from small constructions to complex excavation pits, high-rise buildings in urban areas, and infrastructural works.
- Maintain contact with clients, constructors, and internal colleagues (field service, laboratory, geo-monitoring department).
- Ensure adequate monitoring of advice quality, work planning, and available budget.
- Collaborate with the sales department to prepare offers and contribute to building, expanding, and maintaining the client network.
- Mentor junior advisors based on your professional expertise.
- Actively participate in knowledge management within the advisory department and potentially within nationally active geotechnical committees.
What they ask
- HBO/WO (higher professional education/university) level of thinking and working, preferably in civil engineering or earth sciences.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge and experience with geotechnical software such as Deltares D-series and Plaxis.
