As a Mechanic, you will participate in challenging repair and maintenance projects at a shipyard. You ensure that the work is carried out professionally, safely, and according to schedule.
What you will do.
- Perform repairs and assembly work on various ship components, such as engines, piping systems, and structural parts.
- Ensure that the work is completed neatly and on time.
- Actively contribute to finding solutions when unexpected situations arise and discuss these with the foreman and colleagues.
- Carefully check your own work and comply with applicable safety regulations and quality standards.
Profile
- MBO diploma (vocational education) in a technical field, preferably mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, or a comparable education.
- Experience as a mechanic, preferably in the maritime sector.
- Practical mindset and an eye for quality.
- Collaborative and helpful towards colleagues.
- Keen eye for safety.
