Self Insurance Casemanager

As a Self-Insurance Casemanager (ERD), you are the activating force in the reintegration of (former) employees with a WGA benefit. You take the lead in reintegration processes within a large government organization. Good personnel care is a key pillar, and active support for reintegration is essential. You are the connecting link between reintegrating individuals, internal stakeholders, and external chain partners.

With a caseload of approximately 60 files, you have diverse personal contacts and work on complex cases. You are never alone, as the expertise center bundles a wealth of knowledge. You identify opportunities and offer perspectives to get people back to work. Experience with the ERD implementation of the Sickness Benefits Act (Ziektewet) and/or WGA process is desired.

What you do

  • Management and Compliance: Actively manage, monitor, and ensure progress, quality, and correct compliance with Self-Insurance obligations, intervening as necessary.
  • Guidance and Support: Maintain regular contact with and advise (former) employees on the development of their employability and applicable regulations.
  • Action Plans: Develop action plans with (former) employees and ensure the deployment of professional guidance in reintegration processes.
  • Advising: As a subject matter expert, advise line managers and partners, both solicited and unsolicited, on the status and best possible reintegration approach.
  • Risk Management: Review UWV decisions and reintegration plans for accuracy and completeness, advise on dossier improvement, monitor financial obligations, and develop ways to limit them. You play a role in reassessments and objection & appeal procedures.
  • Collaboration: Promote and maintain cooperation with crucial chain partners such as UWV, reintegration companies, and insurance doctors. You actively build this network.

Profile

  • Enthusiastic and committed colleague with an intrinsic and professional interest in reintegration issues.
  • Results-oriented and conscientious, with an eye for detail and sensitivities in sometimes very complex and sensitive cases.
  • Resilient, stress-resistant, a proactive self-starter, and able to manage time and priorities effectively.
  • A well-developed eye for the various interests of (former) employees, their emotions, and the employer's self-insurance obligations.
  • Socially and communicatively strong, able to adapt advice and messages to a diversity of internal and external interlocutors.

What they ask

  • Relevant HBO diploma.
  • CROV-trained or willing to become so.
  • Several years of work experience in reintegration or as a track 2 casemanager.
  • In possession of a B driving license.

Preferences.

  • Work experience in a large organization (> 1000 employees).
