Supervising Chartered Accountant

A fiduciary firm has made a conscious choice since its foundation to remain a small structure, precisely because it is at this size that it best serves its clients. The team consists of six accountants. What they are looking for today is someone who can take on the role of technical referent within this group, a certified accountant capable of supervising production, reviewing files and tax declarations, and bringing the perspective and rigor of a certified profile to a team of managers.

The structure attaches particular importance to respecting legal deadlines and protecting the responsibility of its clients in tax, corporate law, and social law matters. This is a central issue in its operation, and the supervisor will be the technical guarantor.

What you will do.

• Supervision and review of the team's accounting files, quality and compliance control of the work produced;
• Review and validation of tax declarations, ISOC, IPP, VAT before submission;
• Technical referent for the six accountants in the team, available to answer complex questions and guide decision-making;
• Guarantor of compliance with legal deadlines and client obligations;
• Participation in the coaching and skill development of collaborators;
• Client relationship management for files requiring expertise or an expert-level contact person.

What they ask for.

• Certified ITAA accountant, an essential condition for this position;
• Confirmed experience in a fiduciary firm, with a complete mastery of Belgian taxation, ISOC, IPP, VAT, corporate law;
• Ability to supervise and coach a small team of managers, with a focus on knowledge transfer and support;
• Rigorous regarding deadlines and compliance, this is a central value of the structure;
• Independent status.
