Emergency & Inpatient Veterinarian
Are you a veterinarian who thrives on dynamism, complex cases, and intensive patient care? Do you want to not only perform emergency duties but also further develop yourself professionally within referral and emergency veterinary medicine? At a veterinary clinic, we are looking for enthusiastic veterinarians to strengthen our team during evening, night, and weekend shifts — and to work during the day in the inpatient and emergency care of our referral clinic. Inpatient care forms an important part of the work.
Here you will truly learn clinical thinking, patient follow-up, and intensive care. The combination of emergency care and inpatient medicine provides significant depth and professional growth. Additionally, you will have the unique opportunity to collaborate daily with specialists in internal medicine, medical imaging, surgery, and cardiology, among others. This way, you will learn not only from emergency cases but also from complex secondary care cases and multidisciplinary collaboration.
The emergency post, open in the evenings, nights, and weekends, is a collaboration of primary care practices in the region and part of a referral center. This means you will work in a professional environment where knowledge sharing, collaboration, and development are central. During shifts, you are never alone. You always work with a veterinary assistant, and on weekends and during the day, there is administrative support.
On weekdays, you are always with the entire team of specialists and available as backup at other times. The clinic has extensive inpatient facilities and a growing 24-hour care structure, allowing you to provide high-quality emergency and inpatient care.
