We are looking for experienced project professionals for various leading organizations. These organizations are active in sectors such as industry, pharma, high-tech, energy, and production environments. You will lead technical engineering and investment projects: from equipment, process installations, and utilities to expansions and technical modifications.
You will be involved from the concept phase and, together with the client and the project team, ensure successful realization, including commissioning and handover. You will be the connecting factor between the client, engineering, suppliers, and internal teams, monitoring scope, planning, budget, risks, and quality.
What you do
- You take ownership of projects from the concept phase to delivery and commissioning.
- You align scope, expectations, and approach with the client and internal stakeholders.
- You organize and coordinate the multidisciplinary project team and manage engineers and external partners.
- You monitor planning, milestones, budget, and cost-to-come, reporting on these to management and steering committees.
- You identify project risks and contribute to mitigation plans.
- You organize project reviews, acceptance tests, and other important project moments with the client.
- You monitor the quality and progress of project documentation.
- You support the transition to commissioning and start-up.
- You continuously seek ways to improve project management and collaboration.
What they ask
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electromechanics, Mechanics, Chemistry, Bioengineering, or equivalent by experience.
- At least several years of experience as a Project Manager within a technical or industrial environment.
- Experience within pharma, food, chemical, or process industries.
- You can lead, motivate, and connect technical teams, even without formal hierarchical responsibility.
- You build trust with clients and are a strong discussion partner at various levels.
- You are analytical, pragmatic, and strong in planning, communication, and stakeholder management.
- You work proficiently with MS Office; knowledge of various project planning tools is a plus.
- You speak fluent Dutch and English. French is a plus, but not a must.
- Willingness to travel internationally to a limited extent is a plus, depending on the project.
