What you will do. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of applications. You will work closely with the development team, the product owner, and various stakeholders within an agile work environment. You will contribute to thinking about quality and testability throughout the development process and ensure that new software is thoroughly tested, functions reliably, and is user-friendly.
- You support developers, product owners, and stakeholders with questions regarding quality, test approach, and test execution.
- You write, maintain, and improve automated tests, especially for critical user processes and regression-sensitive parts of applications.
- You coordinate and support functional tests, user tests, acceptance tests, and regression tests in collaboration with developers, stakeholders, and end-users.
- You contribute to the quality of applications by clarifying testable acceptance criteria, identifying quality risks, and performing appropriate test activities.
- You clearly and reproducibly document test findings and coordinate them with developers, product owners, and stakeholders.
- You contribute to a responsible software delivery by providing insight into test results, open risks, and the impact of changes.
- You actively participate in stand-ups, refinements, test coordination, and other Scrum activities, making a substantive contribution from a quality and testing perspective.
What they ask
- Relevant work experience as a Software Tester and at least a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree.
- Experience with automated application testing, for example with Playwright or similar test frameworks.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft toolset, including Typescript, Azure, AzureDevOps, web development, Visual Studio, and Git.
- Basic knowledge of structured software testing; ISTQB CTFL or the willingness to obtain this 'foundation' certification.
- Fluent in the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing.
