Together with colleagues, you guide young people aged 15 to 18 in their personal development, independence, and undertaking of activities. From the age of 18, these young people must be able to live independently in a reception center, their country of origin, or their own home. There is a lot of freedom for (group) activities with the young people, such as cooking and sports. If you sense tension or complex cases, you will be paired as a shadow mentor and conduct methodical conversations.
Daily tasks include room checks, registering new residents, intake interviews, and providing information.

- Able to activate young people without taking too much lead, allowing them to develop independently.
- Preferably several years of experience with this target group.

- Education: minimum of a completed Mbo-level 4 education (equivalent to a vocational education diploma) in an agogic field (e.g., Social Work, SPW, Personal supervisor social care, Supervisor specific target groups, or Pedagogical employee).
- Work experience: minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of methodical guidance and intercultural communication.
- Flexibility: available for day, evening, night, and weekend shifts (night shifts are always waking shifts). This is a strict requirement.

- A passion for music or creative talent is a plus.
Practical
You will work at a newly opening reception center for unaccompanied minor foreign nationals. A team consists of 15 to 40 employees, including youth workers, residential counselors, and behavioral experts. You will always work with at least one other colleague.
