A food producer is looking for 4 technicians for their maintenance team at a production site.
- The team works in two shifts (6:00-15:00 and 14:00-23:00) and there is an on-call service.
What you do
- Responsible for the proper functioning of food machines, boilers, and other equipment.
- Respond ad hoc to machine breakdowns.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance interventions.
- Repair, test, adjust, and replace mechanical parts/components.
- Provide technical support to other departments.
- Follow maintenance procedures and technical documents.
- Carry out general maintenance (building, electricity, sanitary facilities, etc.).
- Perform technical interventions in compliance with safety and food safety guidelines.
- Follow the site's safety plan, including technical alarms (e.g., cold rooms) and access security.
- Supervise calibrations.
- Monitor utilities.
What they ask
- MTS or MBO diploma in mechanical engineering/electrical engineering or at least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the food business.
- Good command of Dutch and English.
- Very good knowledge of electricity and its implementation.
- Strong technical competencies, problem-solving ability, results-oriented, and service-oriented.
- Familiar with measuring and weighing devices, PLC in the food industry.
- Work in an organized and very precise manner.
- Flexible due to two shifts and on-call service.
- Residing in the Netherlands, preferably within a maximum of 30-40 minutes driving distance from the production site due to on-call service.
- Possess own transportation.
