You oversee the chain, think ahead, and ensure that IT service delivery continuously improves. In this senior role, you combine process management, continuous improvement, and leadership. You are responsible for the continuity and development of IT service delivery within a large government organization.
What you do
- Problem Management: You own the Problem Management process. You analyze trends in incidents, recognize patterns, and drive structural solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Deputy IT Manager: In the absence of the IT manager, you take the lead. You manage the team, monitor priorities, and are the point of contact for senior management within the organization.
- Continuous Service Improvement (CSI): You critically and proactively review processes. You initiate and implement improvements and embed them in the organization.
- Chain Management: You maintain intensive contact with chain partners and ensure that systems and dependencies are well aligned.
- Advice & Coaching: You advise on complex IT-related issues and coach colleagues within a specialized department on content and process, involving them in your approach.

Profile
- Experience: You have extensive experience in a senior IT role within a complex and dynamic organization.
- Process Expert: You have strong knowledge of ITIL processes, particularly Problem Management and Service Transition.
- Leadership & Personality: You are analytically strong, persuasive, flexible, and able to involve people in change and improvement.
- Education: You hold a relevant HBO or WO diploma.

- To be eligible for this position, you must be from a country within the European Economic Area. If this is not the case, you must have a combined permit for residence and work (GVVA).
