Are you a supply chain professional who likes to make an impact in a dynamic production environment? The planning department is temporarily looking for reinforcement to ensure the continuity and quality of its supply chain processes. In this role, you will work with colleagues within planning, production, and supply chain and contribute to stable and efficient planning.
What you will do.
- Translate the Demand Plan into a concrete long-term production plan (MPS / RCCP) for all factories and external suppliers
- Develop shipping and inventory plans and ensure an optimal balance between service, inventory
- Monitor the progress of the supply plan and adjust for material and capacity bottlenecks
- Optimize the allocation of products (SKUs and recipes) across plants and warehouses
- Actively contribute to the IBP process and provide input for the Supply Review
- Communicate important changes in the supply plan to the organization
- Calculate and optimize safety stocks per SKU
- Propose improvement initiatives for the planning process
- Be responsible for achieving Supply Planning KPIs
- Work closely with Demand Management, Planning Teams, Plant Management, and Customer Service
Profile
- HBO+ working and thinking level (preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain Management)
- Experience with supply chain processes and production planning
- Knowledge of SAP4/HANA and strong skills in MS Excel
- Insight into planning at a strategic/tactical level
- Strong analytical skills and ability to oversee complex processes
- Proficient in communication and able to collaborate well with various stakeholders
- Results-oriented and continuously seeking improvements
