- The outcome: students can create and defend a brand-owned social campaign, from content strategy and creator fit to paid amplification, usage rights, budgets, KPIs, and return.
What you do
- Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, workshops, and coaching sessions in line with the module handbook, learning outcomes, and assessment brief.
- Translate current fashion-industry practice into clear frameworks, relevant cases, exercises, and hands-on campaign work.
- Help students connect creative choices to target audiences, platform behavior, commercial goals, and measurable outcomes.
- Coach students in campaign strategy, influencer or creator selection, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and short-form content execution.
- Assess student work consistently and provide clear, constructive, and timely feedback at second-year bachelor level.
- Work closely with the Module Leader and wider lecturer team to maintain academic coherence, avoid unnecessary overlap, and keep the module current.
- Contribute to reliable course administration, including attendance, deadlines, assessment records, and communication with students.
- Create an inclusive, participative learning environment in which students are encouraged to question, test, calculate, and improve their ideas.

- Social media fundamentals: the role of social media in brand building, community, conversion, and commercial growth.
- Platform strategy: how Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube differ in audience behavior, content logic, and campaign potential.
- Influencers and content creators: the distinction between influencer marketing and creator marketing, partnership models, and strategic selection based on brand fit.
- Creative content strategy: a practical three-step framework and the difference between content purpose, content pillars, and content formats.
- Paid social and usage rights: ad formats, influencer-content amplification, licensing, and usage rights.
- Campaign economics: creator and UGC budgets, partnership costs, paid-media budgets, and financial objectives.
- Measurement and optimization: KPIs for reach, engagement, and conversion; campaign analysis; and evidence-based improvement.
- Forecasting and return: potential revenue based on impressions, clicks, conversion rate, and average order value, including ROI calculations.
- Short-form production: a 15-second campaign-video prototype that clearly communicates the chosen strategy.
What they ask
- Strong current professional experience in social media, influencer marketing, creator marketing, paid social, or digital campaign strategy.
- Relevant experience in fashion, premium lifestyle, retail, culture, or another brand-led consumer sector.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, including platform-specific content, paid-media approaches, influencer partnerships, and usage rights.
- Confidence with campaign budgets, creator or UGC fees, KPI setting, ROI calculations, and basic revenue forecasting.
- The ability to make complex commercial and analytical subjects accessible, practical, and engaging for undergraduate students in clear spoken and written English.
- A reliable, collaborative, and well-organized way of working as an independent professional.
Preferences.
- Previous higher-education teaching, coaching, or training experience, including assessment and feedback against defined academic criteria.
- A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent senior professional expertise.
- Hands-on knowledge of short-form video tools and an active network that can bring contemporary cases or practitioners into the classroom.
