As an inspector for the circular waste economy, you investigate risks of substances of very high concern (SVHCs) within circular chains. You analyze, inspect, and collaborate with colleagues on an effective approach. You focus on SVHCs in the circular economy and look beyond an individual company or a single violation. You examine how substances move through a chain, what risks that entails, and where supervision has the most impact.
You combine administrative oversight with inspections at companies, analyze information from various sources, and establish connections between signals, companies, and chains. You work based on laws and regulations, and look at the underlying problem to prevent SVHCs from entering or continuing to circulate in circular flows.
In addition to SVHCs, you may also be deployed on other topics within the team, such as the Single Use Plastics directive, Extended Producer Responsibility, the packaging regulation, e-waste, or foreign waste tax.

- Minimum of a higher professional education (hbo) degree, for example in a technical, chemical, or environment-related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in conducting inspections.
- Demonstrable knowledge of waste policy, laws, and regulations.
- In possession of a B driving license.
