The real estate advisor ensures future-proof and efficient housing for educational institutions and other social organizations in close cooperation with school boards, social partners, and internal departments of a government organization.
- You work on school buildings where children will receive education for decades to come.
- You bring together the interests of school boards, administrators, users, and residents and ensure that plans are actually realized.
What you do
- Assess and process housing applications.
- Advise management, the college of B&W, and the municipal council on real estate issues.
- Manage and coordinate renovation, new construction, and sustainability projects for school buildings and other social real estate, also taking on an advisory role.
- Apply relevant laws and regulations.
- Jointly with the other real estate employee, implement MJOPs (Multi-Year Maintenance Plans).
- Contribute to and advise on the planning and control cycle, including financial substantiation of projects.
What they ask
- Demonstrable completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level.
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience as a real estate advisor.
- Candidate agrees to the stated secondment condition.
Preferences.
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience as a real estate advisor at a government organization.
- Demonstrable work experience with guiding IHP processes.
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years with educational housing and municipal real estate, applying knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Demonstrable work experience with real estate management, sustainability, and social developments in real estate.
