Deputy Director

A child center is looking for a Deputy Director to build ambition and enjoyment (0.8 FTE).

What you will do.

• Together with the education director and the unit manager of the childcare organization, you are responsible for the management of the entire child center.
• The focus is on daily operations and the substantive management of various domains.
• You bring movement to the child center's team.
• You lead meetings in an activating and inspiring way, allowing space for dialogue and joint development.
• You are firm and dare to stay on course, even when resistance arises or spontaneous changes occur.
• You bring calm and overview and are able to act clearly and carefully in difficult situations.
• You do not shy away from difficult conversations; you conduct them with clarity and understanding.
• You are visible in the school: you hold discussions with parents and colleagues, enthusiastically and proudly give tours, and involve parents and partners in the center's vision.
• In the mornings, you are available for operational coordination (e.g., sick reports) and occasionally assist with classroom replacement.
• You work intensively with the director and embrace team development, daring to be critical.
• Managing, directing, and safeguarding are in your DNA.
• You see opportunities, stimulate growth, and actively build a strong, engaged culture.
