Refrigeration Technician

For an organization with clients in a major port environment, an experienced Refrigeration Technician is sought. The organization focuses on installation, 24/7 service, and maintenance, with a strong emphasis on innovation, safety, and sustainability.

What you will do.

  • Independently maintain, analyze, and repair refrigeration installations.
  • Perform maintenance work on refrigeration installations according to applicable standards and safety regulations.
  • Commission, adjust, and optimize refrigeration installations.
  • Locate, analyze, and resolve technical defects.
  • Set up preventive actions to avoid recurrence of malfunctions.
  • Disassemble and assemble components of refrigeration installations.
  • Perform full maintenance on refrigeration equipment.
  • Start up installations (vacuuming, filling, and adjustment).
  • Consistently comply with all safety regulations during work.

Profile

  • At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience as a refrigeration technician.
  • In possession of a refrigeration certificate, or willing to obtain one.
  • A VCA certificate is required.
  • Good knowledge of refrigeration installations and electrical connections.
  • Customer-oriented, flexible, and professional in communication.
  • Work efficiently, both independently and in a team.
  • Work in an orderly manner and show perseverance until the desired result is achieved.
  • Possess a B driving license.
