Are you a Verzorgende IG, (personal) support worker, or still in training? You get the chance to work with various target groups. All clients are visually impaired or blind and have a mild, moderate, or severe intellectual disability.
You can work with various target groups such as: LVB (mild intellectual disability), EMB (severe multiple disability), elderly, or (intensive) support. Morning, day, late, weekend, and night shifts are available. The variation in target groups offers diverse and challenging work. You (together with the planning office) determine which shifts you work and how many hours you want to work.
What you do
- Work with a unique target group: blind and visually impaired clients with additional physical, psychological, or auditory disabilities
- Ensure a pleasant living atmosphere
- Execute daily care, support/take over ADL (Activities of Daily Living), such as helping with washing, dressing
- Observe clients, signal bottlenecks, and report on them
- Work on various residential groups with different clients and target groups
What they ask
- In possession of a care or pedagogical related diploma at level 3 or 4
- You are flexible, independent
- You enjoy working in different teams
- You are good at sensing the atmosphere the group needs
- You can empathize with different developmental levels and adapt your guidance per situation
- A car and driving license are necessary due to working at various locations
