We are looking for a Data Factory Lead capable of managing a Data Factory composed of Business Analysts and Data Engineers. The consultant will be responsible for the operational performance of the Factory, delivery execution, the quality of Data solutions, and supporting the Data transformation of a business unit towards a more Data Driven and Data Centric model. The role combines operational steering, team leadership, delivery governance, and Data expertise.
What you do
- Functionally supervise Business Analysts and Data Engineers.
- Organize and coordinate delivery activities, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
- Guarantee the quality, consistency, and sustainability of Data solutions.
- Monitor team capacity and workload plans.
- Work closely with the Product Owner.
- Manage the backlog, priorities, and dependencies.
- Participate in trade-offs between capacity, budget, business value, and deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with delivery commitments.
- Translate business needs into value-added Data solutions.
- Ensure permanent alignment between business objectives and delivered solutions.
- Facilitate exchanges between business units, IT, and external partners.
- Contribute to the Data vision of the business unit.
- Support the evolution towards a Data Driven and Data Centric organization.
- Identify necessary organizational, methodological, and technological developments.
- Promote data culture and continuous improvement.
- Support the upskilling of teams.
- Develop Agile and Product practices.
- Foster collaboration and value orientation.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT/Data team management (Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Developers).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in team leadership and coaching.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in transforming teams towards a Data Driven / Data Centric model.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in backlog management.
- Significant experience in prioritization and capacity management.
- Minimum 5 years in a Product environment with close collaboration with Product Owners.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in leading Agile delivery teams.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Reporting, Analytics, BI, or Data Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in translating business challenges into Data solutions.
- Minimum 5 years of experience on a Data Cloud platform is mandatory (Azure Data Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in budget management for an IT or Data scope.
- French C2 and English B2 minimum.
- Proficiency in technological tools: Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Microsoft Power BI, Snowflake.
- Ability to support an organizational transformation towards a Data Centric model.
- Excellent command of Agile delivery and a strong Product vision.
- Solid expertise in Azure/Fabric/Data ecosystems.
- Experience in the Energy / Utilities sector (desired).
