As a Low-code Software Developer, you will have the opportunity to transform the operational management of a specific part of the air force organization with the innovative Mendix tool! You will be part of an enthusiastic team of approximately 15 colleagues, consisting of Software Developers, BU Analysts, Data Analysts, and Data Architects.
What you do
- You are the driving force in a scrum/agile team, collaborating closely with a Business Analyst to translate business processes into a Mendix application.
- You identify opportunities, devise, and build smart Low-Code solutions that accelerate current and future operational processes.
- You meet bi-weekly with end-users within the organization and present the delivered work from the sprint.
- You engage with end-users and critically think along with them about how the application can best support business processes.
- You continuously optimize built solutions and assist with maintenance and further development.
- There is ample attention for innovation and knowledge sharing, with weekly knowledge-sharing sessions within the Low-code team of this unit and quarterly data events.
- An organization-wide Low-code Center of Excellence organizes a quarterly network event with other Low-coders from other parts of the organization.
- You participate annually in a hackathon to collectively work on security awareness.
What they ask
- WO-level (Master's) or HBO-bachelor (Bachelor's) in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of work experience for a junior role.
- Mendix Advanced Certified or comparable level in IT software development is a plus.
- Demonstrable experience in building and maintaining IT software applications, including Low-code Mendix.
- Experience with Appian Platform or Oracle APEX is useful but not required.
- Experience with Scrum/Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with connecting simple REST APIs.
- Basic knowledge of CSS/Sass (Styling) is a plus.
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages.
