Coordinating Nurse Recovery Department

A healthcare organization in the North Holland North region is looking for a coordinating nurse for the recovery department in a hospital. This department accommodates 15 clients who are temporarily recovering after a hospital stay, before returning home. The department is part of an advice and treatment center and works closely with rehabilitation departments.

What you will do.

• Maintain extensive contact with patients, family, colleagues, and external healthcare professionals.
• Empathize with the situation and adapt communication to the person.
• Be alert to changes in patient behavior.
• Work shifts in the morning, afternoon, evening, night, or weekend.
• Choose a fixed day off during the week and be scheduled according to a roster.

What they ask

• Completed HBO-V (higher professional education in nursing) degree, possibly supplemented with a specialized training.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role and an interest in recovery care.
• Service and customer-oriented attitude with a good sense of proportion in large organizations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Decisiveness, assertiveness, empathy, and persuasiveness.
