As an enforcement officer (BOA), you are the face in the public spaces of a government organization. You are the point of contact on the street and contribute, together with your colleagues, to a safe and livable city.
What you will do.
- Supervise compliance with laws and regulations (APV, environment, traffic rules)
- Take enforcement action in case of violations
- Handle reports from residents and businesses
- Identify violations and draw up official reports
- Collaborate with chain partners such as the police, emergency services, and municipal departments
- Be the point of contact for residents and entrepreneurs
- Contribute to preventing nuisance by informing residents and making them aware of rules
What they ask
- Strong communication skills, ability to connect and address people
- Completed HTV education or comparable MBO education (minimum level 3) supplemented with a valid BOA certificate (domain I, public space)
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an enforcement officer (BOA), with youth issues or subversion
- Preferably an RTGB 3 certificate and a life-saving skills diploma, or the willingness to obtain them
- Good physical condition (appropriate to the nature of the work)
- Good command of the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing (for drawing up official reports)
- Driving license B
Practical
- An assessment and fit-test are part of the application procedure
- A Certificate of Conduct regarding Police Data (VOG P) will be requested later in the procedure, the costs will be reimbursed
