Ambulant Counselor Intervention Care

What you will do.

• As an ambulant counselor, you will be part of a team that, including you, consists of six colleagues and is likely to grow further.
• You help people who have often fallen off the radar: care avoiders, (ex-)detainees, people with hoarding issues, and participants in complex situations.
• You build trust, bring peace to their daily lives, and help them step by step towards recovery, hope, and perspective.
• You are often on the road in the region and meet people where they are, even if they do not (yet) have a home.
• You provide practical support, for example with finances, housing, and structure.
• Because no day is the same, you have a lot of freedom in your schedule; you usually work during office hours, but sometimes you shift or visit in the evening when the situation requires it.
• You think outside the box and adapt to what the target group needs.
• You collaborate intensively with partners such as the municipality, mental health services, addiction care, police, and housing corporations.
• You connect, consult, and ensure everyone is involved, so that participants do not fall through the cracks.
