Within a team, you will work on innovative solutions that further automate and simplify the delivery of business network services. You develop software that is used daily for provisioning, managing, and delivering services to business customers.
What you will do.
- Develop portals and backend systems for SDN services such as SD-WAN and SD-LAN
- Build and improve automation pipelines for provisioning and lifecycle management
- Develop APIs, integrations, and internal services for complex IT chains
- Increase the reliability, scalability, and performance of the platform
- Develop frontend components in React and integration solutions in Python
- Introduce technical improvements and new platform components
- Increase the predictability, stability, and quality of automated processes
You will work closely with engineers, architects, product owners, and other stakeholders within the entire B2B chain.
Profile
As a Lead Software Engineer, you combine technical depth with leadership. You provide technical direction to the team and contribute to the further development of the platform, design scalable, robust, and future-proof software architectures, and remain actively involved in software development and complex technical issues.
You translate business requirements into feasible technical solutions and develop full-stack solutions consisting of frontend, backend, and integration components, including APIs and orchestration logic for complex business processes. Additionally, you perform code reviews and help further professionalize engineering standards, coach and guide fellow engineers in their technical development, and stimulate quality improvements through test automation, refactoring, and best practices.
You collaborate with stakeholders on feasible and future-proof solutions and actively contribute to a culture of continuous learning, improvement, and innovation. You will be part of a technically driven DevOps team responsible for the development and continuous improvement of platforms for an organization's business market. You combine technical leadership with hands-on software development and have a direct influence on the architecture, quality, and future of the platform.
This is explicitly not a role where you are primarily engaged in meetings or documentation; you remain close to the technology and actively contribute to the codebase.
What they ask
- HBO/WO (higher professional education/university) working and thinking level and a minimum of 7 years of experience as a software engineer within complex IT environments
- Demonstrable experience as a Tech Lead, Lead Engineer, or similar technical leadership role
- Extensive experience with TypeScript, React, NestJS, Python, and REST APIs/system integrations
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, data modeling, and relational databases (SQL)
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain technical choices and guide teams in them
Preferences.
- Affinity with the SDN/network domain, Azure, Docker, and CI/CD is a plus.
