Within an innovative research project on the physical store of the future, a motivated researcher is sought. Together with partners, companies, and designers, methodologies are developed to virtually design, test, and evaluate circular retail concepts.
What you will do.
- Contribute to the development of methodologies for designing and evaluating circular retail concepts
- Analyze international examples
- Prepare user tests and validations with companies
- Process and interpret research data
- Contribute to the development of design and evaluation tools for the fashion sector
- Responsible for preparing and conducting workshops, demonstrations, and validation sessions with companies and other stakeholders
Profile
- Master's degree in architecture, architectural engineering, interior architecture, product design, or an equivalent qualification
- Strong interest in retail design, user experience, spatial design, and practice-oriented research
- Strong affinity with sustainability and circular thinking
- Affinity with research into the interaction between users and the built environment
- Experience with user research, observations, interviews, or other qualitative research methods is a plus
- Demonstrable research experience in one or more aspects of the research and willingness to quickly familiarize oneself with new research methods and themes
- Enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team and can collaborate constructively and co-creatively with researchers, companies, and other stakeholders
- Possesses strong analytical skills and can translate research results into clear reports, design recommendations
- Works in a structured, accurate, and independent manner and takes initiative where necessary
- Possesses good communication and reporting skills in Dutch
- Feels comfortable facilitating workshops, presenting research results, and speaking in groups
