As a Mechanical & Robotics Engineer, you determine the technical solution for racking and robotics projects. You provide all necessary drawings, calculations, and technical documentation, and you advise stakeholders efficiently and qualitatively. All this within the agreed timing and according to QSHE standards.
What you will do.
- You are the technical single point of contact (SPOC) for the projects assigned to you
- You study and analyze technical documentation from internal and external stakeholders
- You develop the best technical solution within the given constraints
- You perform the necessary calculations and technical documentation to support the solution and align with stakeholders
- You determine which engineering resources are needed and manage team members collaborating on your project
- You consult with other engineers to continuously improve the quality, efficiency, and accuracy of documents
- You participate in technical meetings, site inspections, and go on-site when necessary
- You technically support internal stakeholders before and during execution, ensuring the solution is correctly implemented
- You are responsible for sourcing external suppliers (materials, installation...) within the project budget
- You are co-responsible for the on-site realization of the project
Profile
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., electromechanics, industrial design...)
- You have a good knowledge of Dutch and English
- You have knowledge of stability and strength calculations
- You have an affinity with materials and technical choices based on execution
- You are willing to travel abroad (occasionally)
