CSA Engineer

For an organization, we are looking for a CSA Engineer.
- The CSA Engineer is responsible for the civil, structural, and architectural aspects within assigned projects on site.
- He/she defines the scope together with stakeholders, manages technical drawings and models, and coordinates the entire process from permit to execution.
- The CSA Engineer acts as an expert and point of contact for civil aspects, both within projects and in support of production units.
- In addition, he/she actively contributes to safety, quality, and compliance with European standards and SHE principles.
What you do
- Responsible for the CSA part (civil engineering, construction, and architecture) within the projects assigned to him/her.
- Describes the CSA scope together with stakeholders (operations, maintenance, and engineering).
- Works closely with the external stability engineer and checks the result and impact of his/her calculations.
- Manages architectural plans, formwork and reinforcement plans, instruction drawings for steel structures, fabrication drawings for steel structures, and 3D steel structure models.
- Performs first-line cost calculations and is able to check and question cost calculations from external parties.
- Takes care of the execution file (does this himself or works closely with an external party).
- Takes care of the tender file.
- Takes care of technical negotiations with civil contractors.
- Takes care of the ordering process with civil companies.
- Takes care of the inspection and approval of invoices for construction work.
- Organizes the provisional and final delivery and transfer, if applicable.
- Knows and acts according to SHE standards (safety, health, and environment), life-saving rules, and SHE principles.
What they ask
- Experience with construction work (concrete & masonry), steel structures, corrosion protection, excavation & earthworks, acid structures, wall & roof cladding, roofs & personal fall protection roofs, roads, sidewalks & railways, insulation, scaffolding.
- Familiar with tools such as SAP, AUTOCAD, REVIT.
- Familiar with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Master in industrial sciences/Industrial engineer or equivalent by experience.
- In possession of a valid VCA-VOL certificate.
- Experience in the chemical industry.
