Real Estate Project Developer

• You prepare complex, strategic real estate projects, from the initiation phase to the start of execution.
• You are fully responsible for the project approach, administrative decision-making, and stakeholder management.
• You gather user specifications, ensure a shared vision among stakeholders, and coordinate the design process and tendering, with an eye on project objectives.
• Your mission is to create an environment where scientists thrive and students receive optimal education.
• You lead project teams and utilize methodologies such as IPMA and PRINCE.
• You proactively contribute with your expertise and take the lead.

What they ask

• Minimum HBO (higher professional education) level in a relevant field such as architecture, civil engineering, or technical business administration.
• Additional education or training in process and project management, or real estate-related education/training.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in an administrative environment.
• Knowledge of finance and relevant experience in project management within the construction and real estate sector.
• Ability to drive sustainable collaborations, lead decision-making processes, and create cohesion among conflicting interests, considering internal organizational dynamics.
• Ability to set strategic goals and translate them into concrete result agreements, and ensure a system focused on results.
• Ability to maintain an overview, act effectively in crisis situations, set priorities, manage resistance, and create calm and trust within teams.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Dutch and English.

• You will work within a department with approximately 60 colleagues.
