As a Windows server administrator, you are responsible for the development and management of the Microsoft server backend for a technology organization. This infrastructure forms the basis for the daily activities of colleagues. You will work in a unique high-tech environment where no two workdays are the same.
What you do
- Contribute to the architecture, design, implementation, and management of systems.
- Project-based management of new development trajectories: from initial analysis and design to implementation and final commissioning.
- Ensure that the Microsoft server environment in the data center remains reliable, up-to-date, secure, and effective.
- Contribute ideas, improve, and realize new solutions.
What they ask
- HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level, preferably a completed ICT education.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience with the Microsoft server backend environment:
- Windows Server
- Exchange
- Skype for Business
- SQLServer
- Sharepoint
- Interest in new ICT technologies, able to translate them into practical and effective solutions.
- Analytical ability, persuasiveness, vision, and the ability to rise above the subject matter.
- Strong professional expertise.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
Preferences.
- Additional knowledge and experience in hypervisors such as 'VMWare'.
- Knowledge and experience with availability monitoring systems.
