An experienced Communications Manager is sought for a retail organization's marketing team.
- The assignment is for maternity cover.
- You will lead consumer and corporate communications across the Netherlands and key cross-border markets in Germany and Belgium.
- The role requires travel to the organization's locations, with 2 days per week presence at the main site and a monthly visit to a second location.
What you do
- Develop and deliver strategic communications and PR plans.
- Lead external PR agencies across three markets.
- Drive media and influencer engagement.
- Create compelling stories around campaigns, partnerships, events, and new store openings.
- Provide strategic communications counsel to senior stakeholders.
- Support reputation and crisis communications.

- Strong communications and PR experience, ideally within a consumer-facing sector.
- Experience developing and delivering strategic communications programmes.
- Proven experience managing agencies and working across multiple markets.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Strong media relations, storytelling, and reputation management expertise.
- A commercial, proactive, and highly organised approach.
- Fluency in Dutch and English. German would be an advantage.
