You will join an accounting firm with a broad client base of diverse clients that strongly focuses on digitalization. In this role, the emphasis is not on executive accounting work, but on client discussions, advice, and monitoring planning and deadlines. You are the link between the client and the team: you ensure that files are completed on time and correctly, and that the client knows their position.
What you will do.
- Manage your own portfolio of client files
- Be the fixed point of contact for your clients
- Conduct client discussions about annual figures and results
- Proactively advise entrepreneurs on the evolution of their business
- Monitor the planning and deadlines of your files, from interim figures to annual closing and declarations
- Distribute work within the team and ensure everyone knows what is expected of them
- Monitor the quality of the files
- Be the point of contact for colleagues with substantive questions
- Coach colleagues and share knowledge
- Contribute to more efficient processes and the smart use of digital tools
What they ask
- At least ten years of experience, most of which as a file manager in an accounting or audit firm
- Knowledge of a file from A to Z
- Confidence with annual closings and corporate tax
- Experience with client contact and advising diverse clients
- Proficient with accounting software such as Exact Online, Yuki
- Open to new digital tools
- Strong people skills
- Fluent in Dutch
- Experience in leading or coaching a team is a plus
- ITAA recognition is an advantage
