Project Control Manager

• Ensure reliable control over planning, finances, risks, capacity, quality, and progress.
• Enable project teams to make timely adjustments and well-founded decisions.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, urban economists, planners, contract managers, technical managers, project staff, and the administrative office.
• Find the right balance between performing tasks yourself and coordinating project control activities.
• Prepare schedules, conduct risk analyses, develop financial forecasts, and provide reports.
• Be visibly present in the project team, create overview and structure, and contribute to predictable and manageable project execution.
• Actively contribute to the further professionalization of IPM work and project control within the organization.
• Apply, evaluate, and further develop processes, formats, and working methods.
• Participate in reviews and share knowledge and best practices within the organization.
• Manage and monitor planning, finances, risks, quality, capacity, and document control within projects.
• Advise project managers and IPM teams on control measures, risks, and project steering.
• Monitor scope changes and clarify their effects on time, money, quality, and risks.
• Perform planning and risk management and report on progress to relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare and update financial forecasts, identify deviations from budget and credit, and advise on control measures for predictable financial project steering.
• Prepare and maintain management information and administrative reports.
• Further develop project control within the organization by improving working methods, formats, dashboards, forecasting processes, and reports within the IPM organization.

• Hands-on professional who not only advises but also performs tasks when necessary.

• Excellent command of the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing.

What they ask

• Minimum HBO bachelor's degree level.
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience as a Project Control Manager or similar role within complex projects.
• Demonstrable work experience with Integrated Project Management (IPM).
• Demonstrable work experience with the control of GROTIK aspects (Money, Risks, Organization, Time, Information, and Quality).

Preferences.

• Completed education at a minimum WO bachelor's degree level.
• Demonstrable work experience with planning and integrated project steering, such as preparing and managing risk files and project schedules.
• Demonstrable work experience with integrated planning management where risks, dependencies, and interface projects are demonstrably linked.
• Demonstrable work experience with financial project management and forecast steering, including commitment accounting, budget monitoring, financial reports, and risk analyses.
• Demonstrable work experience with the professionalization of project and program control.
• Demonstrable work experience within a municipal organization or comparable public organization.
• Demonstrable work experience with infrastructural works and public space.
• Demonstrable work experience with area development.
