Spatial Economist
Spatial developments within a government organization are extensive, diverse, and complex. This requires strategic financial insight and sharp analyses that lead to well-considered choices. What you will do. You are the financial-strategic conscience of area developments. You work closely with colleagues within the Land Affairs and Real Estate team and advise management, the board, and project teams on the financial feasibility of developments. The main areas of focus are:
- preparing feasibility analyses and land development calculations
- performing risk analyses and scenario calculations
- managing ongoing land developments, including annual updates for the mpg
- advising internal project groups and administrators
- preparing decision-making documents and business cases
- municipal policy in and around the field
You also play an active role in project groups where inner-city and large-scale area developments are discussed.
Profile
You are a person who takes initiative and dares to make choices. You are an experienced, confident, and persistent professional. You possess:
- a relevant university or higher professional education, such as urban planning, social geography
- knowledge of recent developments in the field
- a minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar role at a government organization, consultancy firm, or private party
- demonstrable experience in complex projects
- a hands-on mentality
