When facing problems, we often think of talking, but psychomotor therapy goes further: you are not just a head, you are also a body. Our therapists help clients listen to what their body has to say — about feelings, important moments, and good choices.
What you will do.
- Perform treatments according to a self-designed therapy plan using PMT methodologies.
- Collaborate with the lead therapist and the treatment team of the department.
- Maintain accurate records of research and therapy.
- Contribute to both the treatment and the scientific substantiation of our work.
- Work with children and young people (approximately 4 to 23 years old) with mild intellectual disabilities (MID) and complex issues.
Profile
- HBO diploma in psychomotor therapy.
- Registration with the Register of Professional Therapy.
- Demonstrable work experience and knowledge of psychopathology is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility and stress resistance.
- Team-oriented attitude, but also capable of working independently.
- Possess a driving license and a car.
