WMO Consultant

• Handling all applications related to household help, wheelchairs, housing and transport facilities, and home adaptations.
• Clearly identifying the resident's request for help.
• Providing residents with information and advice on housing, welfare, and care.
• Encouraging residents to rely on their own strength and self-reliance.
• Conducting home visits and assessing the resident's request.
• Writing reports and advising on customized provisions.
• Working closely with colleagues.
• Consulting with care providers and suppliers.
• Where relevant, connecting with partners in the neighborhoods, such as neighborhood teams and elderly advisors.

What they ask

• Demonstrably completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, or nursing.
• Demonstrably aware of current developments in Wmo legislation and regulations.
• Demonstrably at least 5 years of experience since 2018 as a Wmo consultant at a government organization.
• Demonstrably at least 5 years of experience since 2018 with home visits.
• Demonstrably at least 3 years of experience since 2022 with home adaptations.
• The candidate must live within a maximum 45-minute drive from the work location.
• Agree to the stated secondment conditions.

Preferences.

• Demonstrably multi-year experience with complex casework.
• The candidate is demonstrably familiar with the area of the work location from a professional perspective.
