As a newcomer supervisor, you will support newcomers in their daily lives. You will encourage them to become self-reliant and ensure a safe and livable living environment. The activities are an integral part of the regular operations of a government organization and are carried out within the existing organizational structure. The employee is part of the team, participates in internal meetings, and works under the daily guidance of the responsible manager.
Priorities, activities, and desired results are determined by the organization. Due to the importance of continuity, knowledge retention, and close cooperation with internal stakeholders, this is a structural role within the team that requires full integration into the organization.

- Conduct intake interviews and register new residents
- Guide residents in their daily lives and encourage them to become self-reliant
- Inform and advise
- Maintain contacts with involved parties and refer residents to the appropriate organizations
- Ensure a safe and livable living environment
What they ask
- Minimum 2 years demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years in residential care and reception of foreigners
- Demonstrable work experience with intercultural communication and experience with newcomers
- Willingness to work all days in the office
Preferences.
- Demonstrably completed MBO level 4 diploma in a social-agogic field
- Minimum 5 years demonstrable work experience in the past 8 years in residential care and reception of foreigners
- Demonstrable work experience in maintaining contact with various instances
