An organization is looking for a Grafana Specialist / Grafana Engineer with strong expertise in Grafana administration, configuration, and observability practices. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Grafana and be capable of supporting both platform administration and end-user adoption across the organization. This role will be responsible for assisting the core Grafana team in implementing configurations, enhancements, and platform changes while providing technical guidance and best practices.
The candidate will work closely with development teams, operations teams, and other stakeholders to enable effective monitoring, visualization, alerting, and observability solutions using Grafana.
What you do
- Extensive hands-on experience with Grafana deployment, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Support the core Grafana platform team with setup activities, configuration changes, upgrades, maintenance, and governance.
- Independently execute Grafana-related tasks and provide technical guidance and instructions to team members.
- Work with application development, infrastructure, and operations teams to drive Grafana adoption.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, visualizations, and alerting mechanisms to support business and operational requirements.
- Configure and optimize alerts, notification channels, and monitoring strategies to improve service visibility and reliability.
- Analyze monitoring requirements and translate them into effective Grafana solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish observability standards, best practices, and governance procedures.
- Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and operational runbooks.
- Provide support during incident investigations and performance troubleshooting activities.
