Income Consultant

A government organization is looking for an income consultant to process subsistence allowance applications. You will work with colleagues from income and employment departments to provide the best possible solutions. The assignment contributes to improved and efficient service delivery to clients and the correct application of the Participation Act.

What you will do.

• Make decisions on subsistence allowance applications, based on the advice of intake colleagues
• Manage a caseload of approximately 250 clients
• Process mutations and conduct legality investigations
• Offer customized solutions using a methodical approach
• Collaborate integrally with internal departments and chain partners in the social domain
• Prepare reports and official decisions

What they ask

• Minimum of 2 years demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years as an income consultant, handling subsistence allowance applications or legality investigations
• Demonstrable knowledge of the Participation Act, proven through education, training, or work experience
• Willingness to work on-site, in consultation at least 50% after the induction period

Preferences.

• Demonstrable work experience with complex cases in the income domain
• Demonstrable work experience with DMS Corsa or comparable document management systems
• Demonstrable work experience conducting interviews with people from diverse backgrounds
• Completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level, preferably SJD, Law, or a relevant field such as Social Work or Public Administration
• Demonstrable work experience with Suite or a comparable system
