Public Space Designer
As a public space designer, you will work on various large and small assignments for the public spaces of a major city. Sustainability, greening, and climate resilience are important topics. You will use your expertise and creativity to realize beautiful and feasible designs. You will do this in collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders in the city.

Profile
You have experience in designing public spaces and know how to combine creativity with technical feasibility. You enjoy collaborating, communicate easily, and can engage others with your ideas. With your eye for detail, knowledge of plants and materials, and sense of design, you create places that are not only beautiful but also functional.
What they ask
- Diploma as a public space designer (e.g., Garden and Landscape Architecture, Bachelor Landscape Design, or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years of work experience with design projects in public spaces.
- Extensive knowledge of plants and materials.
- Experience with the phases of sketch design, preliminary design, and definitive design.
- Sufficient knowledge of the Dutch language (minimum B1 level).
Preferences.
- Experience with participation.
- Knowledge of MicroStation, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Experience within the public sector.
