This small-scale and homely residential facility accommodates 18 clients with severe multiple disabilities, spread across three homes.
- Residents are between 24 and 75 years old, each with unique care needs and ways of making contact.
- You will work in a home with six residents, often with a colleague, to ensure proximity and personal attention.
- Together with your team, you create a safe and stable living environment, turning ordinary moments into special ones.
- Family and volunteers are closely involved, enabling various activities, from small home-based activities to outings.
What you do
- You provide daily care and support, tailored to the individual needs of each resident.
- You observe small signals (a glance, a movement, tension or relaxation) to understand what a resident needs.
- This can range from full care to managing stimuli, making contact, or inviting someone to an activity.
- You work diligently, with warmth and expertise, building trust by being predictable, calm, and present.
- You will work irregular shifts, including day, evening, and weekend shifts, in consultation with your team.
What they ask
- A completed MBO level 3 or 4 education in the field of Care and Welfare.
- Experience with nursing technical procedures or willingness to be trained in this area.
- Interest in or experience working with people with severe multiple disabilities.
- Affinity with self-organization and low-regulation care.
