You will contribute daily to the quality assurance of high-quality products used worldwide in, among other things, baby food, sports nutrition, senior nutrition, and pharmaceutical applications. You will join a dedicated and professional QC team where collaboration, ownership, and quality awareness are central.
What you will do. As an analyst, you will be part of the Quality Control team and work with approximately twelve colleagues in the microbiology laboratory. You will be responsible for independently performing microbiological analyses and making a significant contribution to the quality assurance of products, processes, and the production environment. Activities are carried out within a rotation system, allowing you to be alternately involved in various analysis tasks, sampling, and laboratory activities.
- Pathogen research
- Germ counts
- Yeast and mold analyses
- Research into aerobic and anaerobic spore formers
- Performing PCR analyses
- Taking samples of products, processes, and production environments
- Preparing and processing samples
- Interpreting, registering, and reporting analysis results
- Determining bacterial strains
- Working according to established analysis methods and quality guidelines
- Participating in interlaboratory tests
- Ensuring correct administrative processing of results in quality systems
- Actively contributing to a safe, clean, and high-quality working environment.

- Completed MBO 4 education (equivalent to vocational education), preferably in Microbiology, Laboratory Technology
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a microbiology laboratory
- Experience with microbiological analyses, sample preparation, and plating methods
- Affinity with working according to strict quality and hygiene regulations
- Accurate and structured way of working
- Proactive attitude and sense of responsibility
- Flexibility to switch between different tasks and priorities
- Team player who supports colleagues when needed
- Excellent command of the Dutch language.
