Technical Employee

You play a key role in the asset management of a government organization. You combine the role of domain manager with that of specialist and ensure that civil engineering structures remain safe, reliable, and future-proof. You operate at the intersection of technology, policy, and organization, thereby making a direct contribution to the quality of public space.

What you will do.

• Making transparent and maintaining the condition of civil engineering structures, such as bridges, tunnels, quay walls, and other constructions.
• Drawing up multi-year maintenance plans and associated budgets, based on laws and regulations, policy frameworks, relevant standards and guidelines, and the current condition of the assets.
• Performing analyses and developing multiple scenarios, steering on risks and choosing the scenario that yields the most value.
• Providing expert advice on behalf of the management department for new construction, renovation, and replacement projects, including third-party projects.
• Reviewing plans for manageability and maintenance and ensuring a smooth handover to the management phase.
• Ensuring correct processing of asset management data after execution, so that management files remain current and complete.
• Reporting orally and in writing to the asset manager, team coordinator, and department head.
• Concretely fulfilling the roles of domain manager and specialist according to a recognized asset management model.
